Governor Mary's Challenge to Individual Members

Governor Mary Parsigian’s Challenge

In my installation speech I asked each member to spend some time thinking about
the question “as a Soroptimist, what would you attempt to do if you knew you
could not fail?”
My challenge, therefore, is not to clubs – but to individual members.
Please think about my question and share your ideas with me. Also let me know if
you took steps to bring your idea to fruition. Did you research your idea and
accept/reject it? Did you share your idea with your club?
You can either email your response to me at
maryepars@aol.com, mail it to me at
76 Cloverly, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236, or fax it to me at 313-881-0590.
The deadline for responses is the same as for all other forms due for Spring
Conference, March 26, 2009.
At Conference I will share the top three responses with the meeting attendees, and
will award prizes to the winning members and to their clubs. I will be evaluating
the responses on the basis of:
Originality
Practicability
Member’s assessment of her idea
Evidence of thought process
Yes, this is entirely subjective – but it’s my challenge – and I give good prizes!
I can’t wait to hear all of your ideas.
