New Midwestern Region Organizing
in the Quad Cities Area
This
summer MWR Board Secretary
and NESFC Member Cheryl Fouts
and District II Director Missie Taylor
travelled to
the Quad Cities area to
help in the organizational groundwork
for establishing a new club. Taylor's
sister
DeAnna Hanco, who lives in the area and has
become acquainted with Soroptimist
is spearheading the effort. Members
of Soroptimist International of Kenton/
Hardin County, Ohio are assisting fellow
member Taylor in mentoring interested
women. Eighteen members are required
to charter the club. In July, Taylor and
members of Kenton assisted with
in information booth presentation to
create awareness for the charter effort.
See Quad Cities details.
